This Estimating/Dispatcher Assistant position pay range is $20-$23/hr depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR/DISPATCHER ASSISTANT
As our assistant estimator, most of your day is spent in an office environment on the phone or computer.
Essential responsibilities:

• Pricing invoices
• Ordering material
• Dispatch service calls to field technicians
• Preparing quotes/requesting increases on jobs
• Meeting report deadlines
• Researching labor and material costs
• Review documents, specifications, and demands to understand scope of work
• Follow up on status of submitted quotes and ordered material

Qualifications for our Estimator/Dispatcher Assistant

• HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• 3 years' experience in estimating and/or dispatching, preferably in the home service industry (plumbing)
• Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
• Computer literate and must be able to use general office machines and know the geographical territory
• Strong interpersonal skills are required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be self-motivated and punctual
• Experience gathering data information and inputting the information into the computer
• Must be available to work on call after hours/weekend on a rotating schedule

WORK SCHEDULE
This position works a schedule of 7 am- 4 pm, with a 1-hour lunch, two paid 15 minutes and on call after hours/weekends as needed.
