We are seeking a friendly and professional Sterilization Technician to join our Specialty Prosthodontic practice. The Sterilization Technician performs cleaning and sterilization of instruments, alginate trays, operatories and equipment, and pours up lab models. Our Sterilization Technician will work to support our Dental Assistants and Doctor in patient care. *Will train*

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning and sterilization of all equipment and instruments
• Accurately assembles various instrument sets based on office standard
• Appropriately prepares and packages single instrument items, differentiating items requiring steam or cold sterilization
• Weigh stone and pour up lab models/casts in our in house lab
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each patient
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment
• Must have basic computer skills
• Knowledge of dental operations, instruments and terminology helpful
• Prioritize multiple demands and requests to maintain efficient patient flow
• Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members as needed
• OSHA Experience
