The Opportunity ... Proseal is part of JBT's DF&H (Diversified Food & Health) a division of our Food Technology business.

This team designs, manufactures, assembles and services high-quality tray sealing machinery and custom ready-to-use production line solutions.

These machines are used to put flexible film lids onto pre-formed trays, this is done by applying a combination of time, temperature and pressure, to create a bond between the pre-formed tray and lidding material.

As our Field Service Technician you will report to the Head of Customer Care of JBT Proseal. On a given day, you may : Stage, install, and commission manual, semi-automatic, and automatic tray sealing machinery and tooling Advise and provide third-party equipment supplier integration support Perform remote or on-site support to equipment breakdown situations Manage on-site customer requirements and expectations Install, diagnose, and repair of multiple AC / DC electrical systems including PLC's, HMI's, VFD's, power supplies, servo motors / amplifiers, temperature controllers, phase monitors, contactors, relays, transformers, and heaters.

Consult and communicate with design engineers, management, and customers to resolve issues in system, design, operation, and maintenance Provide accurate, and detailed service visit reports.

Requirements for the role High School Diploma or GED required Valid United States driver's license and good driving record Availability to work overtime Two years of experience in food processing / production environment Pass background check and drug screening Travel & Location You will be remote and we ask that you travel approximately 90% of the time.

The estimated annual salary / hourly range for this role is $25.00-$35.00. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
