John Boos & Co. , a trusted provider of high-quality, performance driven equipment and workspaces that have inspired home cooks, chefs and foodservice industry workers for generations, is accepting applications for a full-time Retail Sales Associate for our Retail Outlet Store.

Summary

As a sales associate, you will be the face of the John Boos & Co. retail store. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring and outstanding shopping experience for customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with production selection, product information, and policies regarding payments and exchanges.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals through effective product presentations, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and policies regarding payments and exchanges.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and product availability.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with inventory management such as receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting inventory counts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Collect customer feedback and provide insights to improve customer experience.

Education & Training

• High School Diploma Required

Skills & Abilities

• Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of John Boos’ products, their features, and benefits applicable to customers.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work independently and with a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate product information.
• Flexibility working various shifts including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
