John Hirsh’s Cambridge Motors is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. The Auto Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles. This is a unique opportunity with weekly commission and a flexible schedule, as well as the benefit of having your warranty paid at retail time plus a $4/FRH bonus.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and provide accurate estimates for repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, while following all safety and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Stay current with industry advancements, techniques, and trends through ongoing training and development
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ASE certification preferred
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
