John Hirsh’s Cambridge Motors is Hiring an Auto technician Near Cambridge, MN

John Hirsh’s Cambridge Motors is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team .

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry.

The Auto Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity with weekly commission and a flexible schedule, as well as the benefit of having your warranty paid at retail time plus a $4 / FRH bonus.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and provide accurate estimates for repairs
  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, while following all safety and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
  • Stay current with industry advancements, techniques, and trends through ongoing training and development

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
