Job Description:
Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs all nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.
Education:
* Completion of Nuclear Medicine Technology - Required
Experience:
* Medical Imaging - Nuclear Medicine - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
* BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
* CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and/or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology - Required
* CTNM-Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine Certificate (California State License issue by RHB) or
* Online state license verification from California RHB stating-License Title: ALL SCOPES DEFINED IN SECTION 30533, PLUS VENIPUNCTURE-Required
* NMTCB (CT)- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, in CT-Preferred or
* ARRT (CT)- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, in CT-Preferred

Pay Range:
$68.63 - $96.00
