Sibley Memorial Hospital is providing twenty-six week Perioperative Internship Program that offers a comprehensive introduction to perioperative area, in adherance to the Periop 101 guidelines. Designed for registered nurses without previous operating room experience. The internship includes lecture, demonstrations, discussions, and practice sessions.

Sibley Memorial Hospital has 13 Operating Rooms As an OR Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital, you will circulate (ability to scrub is a plus!) in a variety of services to include, but not limited to, Plastic Surgery, GYN, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Vascular Surgery, and Robotics.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in the District of Columbia
• BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training required
• OR expereince required
