As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.
What Awaits You?
Job Summary: As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician III, performs both baseline duties (including those of a Pharmacy Technician II) as well as specialized technician duties as determined by departmental leadership. Able to train new pharmacy technicians. Competent to staff in at least two specialized areas/locations as determined by departmental leadership.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma, certificate, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
-Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.
-Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy is required.
-Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in applicable specialized institutional pharmacy areas as determined by departmental leadership.
-Sterile Compounding experience is also required.
Shift: PRN/Casual, Day Shift. Weekends & holiday work is required.
