About this position:
The primary responsibility of the Specialty Nurse is to advance patient care directly in the role of expert clinical practitioner and patient educator; and indirectly in the roles of educator, coordinator, and consultant.
The Specialty Nurse: Care Facilitator Behavioral Health is responsible for assessing nursing compliance and practice through concurrent chart review, observing clinical performance (tracer methodology), and data collection. The Care Facilitator ensures adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements. This role involves providing feedback, guidance, and education to enhance the quality, safety, and excellence of care delivery.
