Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, helping them lead fulfilling lives. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice care
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as needed
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
- Foster social interaction and engagement through meaningful activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Skills:
- Childcare experience or knowledge of child development
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors is a plus
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of social work principles and techniques for supporting individuals with diverse needs

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

• Night shift
• Weekends only
