We are committed to the delivery of high-quality chemical leads and clinical compounds. This position requires expertise and experience in multiple fields including cellular pharmacology, assay development, and compound profiling with an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply state-of-the-art drug discovery approaches in a multidisciplinary team
• Independently execute, troubleshoot, and validate functional cell-based and cell-free assays.
• Profile compounds based on established SOP to enable SAR studies.
• Analyze data and summarize results using standard data analysis template.
• Communicate findings to project teams and governance committees. Present in internal and external meetings.
  
  

QualificationsEducation:

• Minimum of a BS Degree in Immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
  
  

Experience and Skills:Required:

• Expertise in validating and executing state-of-the-art cell-based assays
• High proficiency with mammalian cell culture
• Hands-on experience with ELISA, MSD, AlphaLISA, HTRF, FLIPR, Luminex, and other plate-based assays in HTS format (384 or 1536 well)
• Experience with multi-color flow cytometry, iQue, ELISpot, and cell sorting
• Proficiency with standard scientific software used for data analysis (e.g. GraphPad Prism, Genedata Screener, Perkin Elmer Signals, and Spotfire)
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience working with laboratory automation and high-throughput screening
• Prior experience with human whole blood and PBMC isolation and stimulation
• Prior experience with immunocytochemistry, fluorescent microscopy, and high content imaging
  
  

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $89,000 to $143,750.California Bay Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is $103,000 to $165,600.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
