The position can be located in either Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ; or Spring House, PA. This role may require up to 10% domestic or international travel.

Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine Research and Development (IM R&D) discovers and develops innovative medical solutions to address important unmet medical needs across multiple therapeutic areas. The Global Development Organization is the backbone of drug development and is responsible for expertly delivering on the portfolio and providing transformative medicines to patients around the world.
The Senior Finance Manager, Global Development is responsible for overall budget management, consolidations, and partnering with the Business Growth, Innovation and Advocacy team on strategy and projects. In addition, this role partners closely with TA Finance as we collaborate to deliver on portfolio goals. This position supports of team of 5 individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering closely with Global Development leadership team in driving forecasting process & ensuring delivery of commitments.
  • Helping to drive future strategy and financial support of new ways of working in the business
  • Providing coaching, mentorship and support to the team.
  • Provide strategic insights to business partners and finance leadership to drive efficiencies and influence decision making.
  • Lead operational improvements and implement analytics to provide better insights to the business to drive choices and prioritization.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years progressive professional Finance experience is required.
  • Experience managing a team is required.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent technical skills and leadership skills, ability to influence decision making with business leaders.
  • Strong business communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and global environment.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ethical behavior in all areas of responsibility, and act as a role model for J&J Credo values.
  • This position may be based in Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ; or Spring House, PA and may require up to 10% domestic or international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 - $195,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
