In this role, you could expect to gain experiences and have responsibilities in the following areas as a member of the RWV&E team:
- Understand the pharmaceutical industry organization
- Recognize the value and role of real-world evidence generation (e.g. health economic and outcomes research) in modern healthcare
- Gain competency in review and analysis of scientific literature
- Develop medical writing and data interpretation skills
- Prepare and conduct presentations to internal stakeholders
- Verbally communicate economic and clinical research findings to various cross-functional teams
- Participate in observational research projects
- Work within a team to identify and fill existing gaps in scientific evidence or business needs.
- Have permanent work authorization in the US. We cannot consider students requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Commit to 10 – 12 weeks in the May – August 2024 timeframe.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer internship.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, reflective of all college coursework.
- Currently be enrolled in an accredited College/University, pursuing a Masters/MBA or PHD degree (not necessarily actively taking classes). Preferred fields are Public Health, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Data Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
- Must not be a Freshman or a Senior graduating prior to program end date (Seniors must be willing/allowed to extend graduation date)
- A passion for Neuroscience therapeutic area is preferred.
