POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
Two years of prior maintenance experience is required.
A forklift certification is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule repairs for plant equipment, including forklifts.
Clean, maintain, and repair tools and equipment used in maintenance and operations.
Operate maintenance equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and propane.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and systems, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
Perform inspections and tests to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and update maintenance procedures.
Implement and maintain adherence to safety and cleanliness standards for the department.
Safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used for general maintenance purposes.
Effectively estimate the scope of work assignments and secure the necessary tools and materials to complete each assignment.
Maintain and file detailed records of all repairs, purchase receipts, and product information.
