Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns, LLP is seeking a full-time Paralegal with experience in the areas of Community Association Law including Condominium, HOA, and Cooperatives, along with real estate litigation and business litigation experience. Candidates must have three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a Litigation paralegal handling all aspects of litigation files.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Required:
The paralegal is responsible for handling a heavy caseload and working closely with HOA/Condo/Co-op Board members and homeowners. The paralegal will need to be comfortable with managing complaints, referrals, preparing notices, liens, release of liens, foreclosure notices, collections, preparing final demand letters, preparing notices of unpaid assessments and other charges, preparing payment plan default letters, preparing new referrals for the collection process, preparing the file for lawsuit, etc. This is a very demanding position that is document-intensive, and deadline driven.
