Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair all hockey equipment.
- Sharpen skates and manage skate inventory.
- Ensure all gear is safe, clean, and in top condition.
- Track and manage inventory of all team equipment.
- Order new equipment and supplies as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and needs.
- Prepare locker rooms for games and practices.
- Set up and break down equipment for all home and away games.
- Manage the transportation of equipment to away games.
- Coordinate equipment logistics for travel, including packing and transportation.
- Ensure all equipment arrives at away venues in a timely manner.
- Assist with team travel arrangements as needed.
- Work closely with coaches, players, and other staff to meet equipment needs.
- Provide on-the-spot equipment repairs during games and practices.
- Assist with other team-related duties as required.
- Previous experience as an Equipment Manager or in a similar role, preferably in hockey.
- Strong knowledge of hockey equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (cold rinks, travel environments).
