**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling, medical terminology, and working at the front desk of a medical or dental office. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA regulations are highly desirable.
**Duties:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using medical scheduling software
- Verify patient insurance coverage and demographic information
- Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed in a fast-paced medical office environment
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
