Description

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Audio / Video / Lighting systems across both Town and Beach Facilities.

1. Evaluate, recommend, test, install, maintain, and support all of Jonathan Club’s A.V. systems infrastructure. 

2. Perform the installation of, repair, upgrade, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on Audio, Video and Lighting equipment.

3. Work together with our Catering and Events department to make sure that we have all events or functions properly planned, staffed, priced and organized.

4. Setup and Mix Audio during live events and functions using Analog and Digital Audio consoles.

5. Familiar with Projectors and how to connect video from various sources such as DVD Players, Apple, Mac Books, iPads, Windows, Laptops and Tablets.

6. Support and installation of Televisions, Flat Panel LCD & LED TV’s, Amplifiers, RTI Touch Panels, EQ’s, DBX & BBE Compressors, Speakers, Sonos, and 70 Volt systems. 

7. Train Employees on the A/V Technology that is utilized by both facilities.

8. Keep up to date inventory lists to ensure that proper scheduling of equipment, training and A.V. systems are kept in proper working order. 

9. Familiar with web based event technologies such as WebEx, Zoom and Microsoft Teams

10. Communicate directly with vendors and make recommendations for repairs and replacement items.

11. Research and maintain appropriate documentation to keep all systems procedures current.

12. Support the Engineering team with Audio / Video configurations that will include setup and maintenance of televisions, audio systems, lighting, iPods, iPads, Spotify, Sonos, projectors, DirecTV, and Spectrum Cable across both locations.

13. Work with video and audio editing software to convert formats as well as create interactive PowerPoint / Keynote presentations. 

14. Setup and check frequencies on wireless microphones and lavalier microphones to insure flawless events.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

1. Expert knowledge of PowerPoint as well as the entire Office suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, One Note, Keynote and Outlook)

2. Ability to clearly communicate and work with those individuals that are not technically inclined.

3. Exceptional technical, oral & written communication skills.

4. Ability to quickly resolve issues in a professional manner.

Work Conditions:

1. Work areas include the IT Department, AV Shop, Meeting Rooms, and Hotel Rooms with weekly visits to both the Town Club and Beach Club.

Physical Capabilities:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

2. Ability to bend, reach, stoop and stretch.
