Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A valid PA Safety Inspection License and PA Emissions Inspector license is preferred.
• Some practical experience with automotive repair and service is required.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components is a plus.
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
• Basic computer skills required for data entry into Dealer Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair minor vehicle issues, such as replacing brake pads and spark plugs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve more complex vehicle problems
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions and addressing concerns
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within the scheduled time period
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
