Jones Networking has an exciting opportunity available for a Logistics Associate to join the corporate office of an award-winning manufacturing company in Sterling, VA. Logistics Associate Position Description:
-Provide administrative support to the logistics, shipping and transportation departments.
-Assist in coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse facility.
-Provide support with handling incoming shipments, documenting inventory, and resolving customer service issues.
-Exhibit a high level of customer service in all interactions with wholesale partners.
-Answer telephones and provide customer assistance to brokers, customers and vendors as needed.
-Participate in organizing trade fairs.
-Serve as the contact person for any customer requests regarding logistical issues or promotional matters.
Qualifications Summary:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Light logistics and/or supply chain experience required.
-Knowledge of shipping processes and metrics desired.
-Warehouse experience is a plus.
-Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
-Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi task in a fast paced office.
