Jones Networking is recruiting for a Personal Injury Attorney to join a Law Firm in North Carolina. Position Summary for the Personal Injury Attorney (Remote):
- Manage and develop strategy for complex Personal Injury cases.
- Responsible for mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, trials, and client interactions.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
- Examine legal and medical data to determine insurance coverage, liability, damages, and overall strategy.
- Conduct research, guide clients, and handle details in preparation for case-related events.
- Develop settlement brochures, strategies, and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Responsible for legal compliance with respect to disbursements and settlement funds.
- Effectively utilize available technology to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Establish and build relationships with other professionals in the communities served to enhance brand recognition, marketing efforts and client service.
- Travel is required.
Qualifications Summary for the Personal Injury Attorney (Remote):
- JD degree from an accredited college or university.
- NC State Bar membership required (additional State Bar memberships a plus).
- 5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Involved in litigating personal injury cases in state court.
- Must be able to exercise extensive independent judgment to make decisions in carrying out assignments that have substantial impact on the department.
- Ability to instruct, direct, mentor, and evaluate team members; direct and motivate others.
- Communicate effectively and use judgment, tact and discretion.
- Quickly assimilate oral and written data, to analyze facts and draw logical conclusions.
- Maintain collaborative client/team member relations.
