Position Title: Senior Accountant

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a property management company in Arlington, VA. This opportunity offers competitive salary and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO plan, retirement plan, wellness programs and more.
Senior Accountant Position Summary:
-Manage all financial and compliance reporting for assigned properties.
-Ensure accurate recording and reporting of all lease related financial transactions, including rental payments and security deposits.
-Oversee management of lease agreements.
-Maintain property reporting schedule.
-Review and report on balance sheet and cash flow.
-Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
-Perform accounts payable, cash management, and debt service payment functions.
-Conduct financial analysis and lease reconciliations to verify accuracy of tenant billings, operating expenses and other financial aspects.
-Assist with tax return preparation.
-Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation.
Senior Accountant Qualifications Summary:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
-Minimum five years relevant work experience.
-Real estate accounting experience required.
-CPA Certification preferred.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
-Familiarity with Yardi is a plus.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
