The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to work within a team environment to create clear construction documents for a range of project types including multifamily housing, K12 education and renovation of historic civic buildings. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should be knowledgeable of Massachusetts building codes and construction practices and able to work collaboratively and respectfully with all members of a design and construction team and should be able to handle the personal management challenge of juggling multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
- Utilize knowledge of design and construction techniques to develop projects from concept to construction details
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with various teams in order to establish vision, goals, schedules and budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- 3 years of experience in construction and architecture
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
