What You Will Do:
The Director of National Accounts at JonnyPops is a strategic thinker with a passion for building strong client relationships. This individual will drive revenue growth by developing and executing comprehensive account strategies that align with our company goals. The Director of National Accounts will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our national clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is strong at building relationships, hungry to take on new challenges, and balances creative vision and analytical thinking. Essential Duties:
· Total sales and P L responsibility for key strategic retailers.
· Drive new product/category distribution initiatives.
· Implement retailer promotional plans to maximize incremental sales through effective trade investments
· Direct distributors, brokers, field sales and internal resources to accomplish sales and distribution objectives.
· Manage budgets be a tight manager of trade spending.
· Delivers distribution, shelf management, pricing and promotional objectives for key strategic accounts
· Manage headquarter responsibility for key national accounts such as (combination of some accounts): Sprouts, Whole Foods, Publix, Kroger, Walmart
· Identify new business opportunities within customer base, and have the ability to manage projects throughout the cross functional organization to accomplish those goals.
· Responsible for planning a monthly calendar which includes extensive travel such as, retailer appointments, broker meetings, distributor meetings, trade shows, regional shows, corporate office visits, etc.
· Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new duties and identifying new opportunities within the sales department or total organization.
Skills / Qualification / Education:
· 10 years in Sales for a CPG company
· At least 5 yrs as a Director of Sales in the food/beverage industry
· Has experience working for both a large and smaller scale profitable brands
· Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
· Experience working with multiple retail environments preferred
· Excel and PowerPoint Skills; must be competent in managing large data sets
· Experience in sales planning, trade management and forecasting
· Creative thinker with the ability to tell a story with data
· Develop and manage scope, timeline, work plan and deliverables for projects; manage incoming project
requests and maintain project queue
· Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment
· Self-sufficient and highly detailed oriented
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface at all levels
· Strong presentation skills
· Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
· Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
· Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
