Objectives of This Role:

  • Serve as the financial analyst within the firm, providing client support to improve financial reporting, metrics, and overall financial performance.
  • Preparation and delivery of business estimates of value.
  • Enhance the client reporting to measure value creation over the client relationship.
  • Development and enhancement of internal processes to increase internal efficiencies and drive client value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis – conduct analysis of client financial statements, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Business Estimates of Value – prepare, analyze, and deliver business estimates of value to provide a baseline from which to build future value and align personal and financial goals.
  • Client Engagement – nurture strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their business and financial needs. Act as a trusted advisor providing proactive financial insights and solutions to enhance client success.
  • Consulting – work collaboratively with Owner/CEO and clients to understand their business goals and challenges and offer tailored financial strategies and solutions.
  • Process Improvement – Evaluate and optimize client financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement improvements in financial reporting and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive, hands-on experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis and offering strategic recommendations for improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • An eye for detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working within QuickBooks Online
  • Experience in generating process documentation
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power Point, Word
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a small team environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and projects
  • High proficiency in writing reports summarizing results and providing clear recommendations and analysis
