Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in marketing, event planning and/or communications
• Experience in the hospice and health care industry a plus.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to keep good relationships with customers, co-workers, and other business partners.
• Excellent Project management capabilities
• Experience planning and implementing effective events
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, In-Design, Publisher Page-Maker, Photo Shop, patient and client relations databases, internet, e-mail)
• Willingness to travel between facilities and throughout service area.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and state required insurance.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinates educational events and programs for agency target audiences.
• Oversees the development and implementation of educational symposiums.
• Ensures representation at all pertinent community events, expos, and trade shows.
• Possesses a workable knowledge of Hospice Care.
• Support Volunteer Coordinators and Hospice Liaisons in planning and implementing events and programs.
• Assists with and tracks the outreach initiatives for the agency.
• Oversees/trains volunteers per project expectations.
• Assist with researching marketing opportunities and educational resources
• Assist with the development and implementation of professional and community educational programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
