Journeys is Hiring a Child Care Director Near Tyler, TX

## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Director to oversee our child care center and ensure the provision of high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in education administration.

## Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to stimulate the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of children.
- Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and families, ensuring open communication and involvement in their child's development.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the child care center to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, educators, and other professionals to enhance the learning experience for children.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.92 - $19.50 per hour
