A bit about us:

We are hard-working, patient, and attentive first-time parents looking for an amazing nanny to care for and love our baby! I will be working from home and stepping away from my home office to breastfeed. My husband usually works outside the home three days a week. Sometimes Grandma will travel from Iran and stay with us for a month. We are on the quieter side (me more than my husband), but we both value someone who is social and more outgoing. 

Our 11-month-old baby girl is very alert and sensitive. She is not napping consistently, and wants to be held and rocked. She loves it when I sing to her and she loves to be played with! 

A bit about you:

You are a loving, warm, and talkative nanny who is well-equipped to care for a 6-month-old baby and help her reach milestones. You are great at teaching and supervising daily life skills with unlimited patience and clear communication. You are comfortable with a positive form of discipline that will deter undesirable behavior as she grows, and you are passionate about working with infants and toddlers. You have good hygiene and are careful not to expose the baby to viruses or germs while her immune system is developing. 

Job Duties: Engaging the baby in age-appropriate play, games, and enrichment, food prep for the baby (when she is napping), diaper changing, age-appropriate sensory play, following parents’ preferred routine for naps, helping create baby’s routine with the parents, baby laundry, organizing toys, occasionally driving baby to doctor’s appointments, etc.

Qualifications: 2 years of prior nanny experience with infants, at least one previous long-term nanny placement for 2 years minimum, knowledge of infant development, fluent in English, valid Driver’s license, reliable car, clean driving record, willing to follow no phone use around the baby, and CPR plus First Aid certifications.

Set yourself apart: You are creative and/or love to sing! You studied Child Psychology and/or Child Development. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday (9a-5p)
*Mondays only are actually 10a-6p 
Starts ASAP! 

Pay: $30 an hour
