Summary:
A bit about us : We are a busy, active family seeking a caring and reliable part-time nanny to join our household. We have four children, aged 6, 4, and 2-year-old twins, who are energetic and love outdoor activities, building with Legos, reading books, engaging in imaginative play, and playing with toys like dinosaurs and Paw Patrol figures. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting parks, riding bikes, and going on hikes. We also like to go on outings to museums, libraries, and zoos. The children are in school and preschool at the same location that is within walking distance from home. Dad and mom are in the process of a separation and will be following a 2-2-5-5 parenting schedule, care will be at dad's home. Our primary need is after-school care on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1pm-6pm, with every other Friday dedicated to household duties.
A bit about you : You are a dependable and punctual nanny with a warm and engaging personality. You understand the dynamics of a busy household and can confidently manage multiple children. You are caring and empathetic, with the ability to help children process their feelings and anxieties. A good sense of humor, a light-hearted approach, and a creative mindset are qualities that our children will appreciate. Experience with meal preparation, household management, and providing structured yet fun activities is essential.
Job Duties :

• Provide after-school care for four children, including walking them home from school.
• Prepare and serve snacks and dinner.
• Assist with homework and engage the children in various activities.
• Manage general tidiness/cleanup of kitchen and play areas.
• Children's laundry and maintain the tidiness of their play areas.
• Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed.
• Plan and prepare crafts, outings, and activities for the children.
• Grocery shopping, meal planning, activity planning, etc. on Fridays when the children are not present.

Start Date: July 10th, 2024
Location: Seattle, WA, 98117

Qualifications : Must have at least 2 years of experience with children ages similar to our children's ages. Household management experience. COVID vaccinated. Glowing references from recent nanny families.

Schedule: 15 hours a week, W/TH/F 1pm - 6pm
Pay: $32-35 an hour
