About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Strategy to lead and oversee all aspects of its grantmaking operations. The successful candidate will be a key partner in developing and implementing grantmaking strategies that focus on improving health, with a particular emphasis on low-income and underserved communities. This role requires a dynamic and collaborative leader who can work with the President to address health disparities, engage in strategic investments, and lead efforts to advocate for policy changes that enhance community health. The Vice President will also be responsible for supervising a small program staff, assessing grant proposals, and maintaining relationships with grantees and other stakeholders.Candidates for the Vice President position should have a strong passion for the mission of the Foundation, a deep understanding of health, policy, and urban community issues, and a commitment to racial equity and social justice. The role demands a critical thinker with exceptional communication skills, the ability to build and sustain relationships, and a proven track record of collaboration. A background in public health, health policy, or human services is essential, and familiarity with the Foundation's grantmaking areas is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem-solver, a team player, and a respected leader with a reputation for integrity and values.
