Infinitek Group are working with a company who are continuing to develop and progress as one of the leading ISO 9001:2015–certified designer and builder of custom advanced automation equipment and manufactured structures and systems, including robotics, machine vision, motion control, automated test and data acquisition, and software control and management solutions for all manufacturing industries.
The main customers of our client are life sciences, automotive and commercial vehicles, consumer packaged goods (CPG), general manufacturing, logistics, electronics and manufacturing.
They are looking for a Automation Controls Engineer.
The automation machines you will be working on are uniquely designed assembly, inspection, and test systems for industries that demand precision assembly for their components.
You will will take responsibility for the design effort on assigned projects under the direction of the Director of Engineering.
This will include, preparing control systems designs and utilizing AutoCAD prepare drawings which include power distribution, PLC, main and station panel layouts, console layouts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation, along with writing and document software. You will also need to:
You will need programming experience in PLC and HMI.
They manufacture robots and parts so ideally you will need out of the box programming as well as programming from scratch...Robotics programming will be a plus.
Requirements:
The role will be based from either St Joseph, MI or Buchanan, MI.
