Be a key component in building a comprehensive understanding of Chase customers and their behaviors that will drive business growth.

As a Data Scientist Lead, in our Customer Analytics Team, you’ll responsible for understanding customer needs across all of Chase and generating insights.

Job Responsibilities:

• Synthesize analytical findings for senior business executives in written and verbal formats and influence decisions that impact Chase customers
• Plan, execute, and deliver customer-centric analytical projects, including strategic analyses to serve a variety of segment-focused use cases (e.g., marketing, servicing, personalization) and segment-level dashboards that inform executives on critical KPIs
• Work hands-on with various data assets (via SQL) to answer business questions, describe customer archetypes, financial needs and behaviors
• Become a trusted partner and thought leader on customer data and analytics techniques 
• Develop a strong team environment with junior team members, built on respect and cooperation
• Define metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights based on data

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 6 years of hands on experience in data and analytics, or related consulting in consumer financial services, with a proven record of high performance; Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field
• Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, etc
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management. 
• Familiarity working in cloud based environments and developing production level code to execute applications.
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization to pull and summarize large datasets with focus on efficiency
• Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: Alteryx, Python, Snowflake, Tableau
• Functional industry experience in banking, finance, marketing, credit/risk, technology
• Master’s degree in related field
