Job Summary

Insurance Svc Manager I will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring the Fannie Mae (FNMA) servicing activity, which includes Insurance Waiver Monitoring and assisting with resolving non-compliance FNMA items. They ensure compliance with Federal Regulations, Investor Guidelines (FNMA, Freddie Mac) and JPMC Global Flood & Non-Flood Policy. Additional responsibility includes overseeing insurance coverage portfolio for key clients throughout the loan servicing period, this entail actively collaborating with clients and agents through outreach efforts. The role requires fostering robust internal collaborations with the supported business area as well as Compliance, Risk and Legal. This position necessitates a subject matter expert with a demonstrated capability to thrive in a high-pressure environments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review FNMA requirements and resolve the non-compliance items during servicing event.
  • Follow applicable Internal and FNMA policy and procedures to monitor and follow-up on Waiver Condition to ensure compliance during the Waiver period.
  • Proactively partner to manage insurance coverage portfolio for strategic clients during life of loan servicing which includes outreach to clients and agents.
  • Work with Compliance, Risk and Legal to ensure GSE (Government Sponsored Enterprise) requirements align to internal procedures.
  • Recommends and implements enhancements and process improvements and may be included in strategic business initiatives.
  • Drives change and firmwide initiatives. Mitigates and escalates identified risks and controls.
  • Perform Quality Control of internal processes where needed. 
  • Facilitate meetings (with representatives, as appropriate, from line of business, Central Insurance Leaders, Legal, Compliance, Relationship Manager) when insurance issues/questions arise. 

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work fast yet accurately
  • A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details 
  • A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills 
  • Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and across levels
  • The position requires a consultative, visionary, influential, risk and results focused leader with extensive lending subject matter expertise 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience working with iTAC (Insurance Tracking and Compliance) and Loan System
  • General Commercial insurance industry knowledge
  • GSE Insurance requirements knowledge is a plus.
