What to ExpectAs a Business Relationship Manager Trainee, you can explore your potential through hands-on experience in a professional environment. In this program, you will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge related to financial acumen, Chase and Business Banking culture, relationship management and professional skills through a variety of educational and experiential activities. The goal of the program is to move Trainees into a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) role. Our BRMs work directly with business owners in local communities, helping them manage cash flow today and secure the financing they need to grow tomorrow. Principal Program Responsibilities: Phase 1 - Immersion and Skill Building Focus on financial acumen, Chase and Business Banking culture, relationship management and professional skills. Participate in immersive job shadowing experiences Assist in business development and prospecting new clients by phone and/or in person Conduct product, market, and client research Complete special projects within Business Banking (i.e., Sales Strategy, Marketing, Product) Phase 2 - Portfolio Management Own client experience survey results for all assigned clients. Escalate those that require additional assistance or resolution. Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 25-40 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide deposit and cash management solutions and manage credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000 Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to the financial needs and circumstances of their businesses. Regularly conduct in-person calls with prospects and existing clients at their places of business Identify and pursue potential new business clients, looking for ways to cultivate long-term, primary banking relationships Build collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business (Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch Teams) to connect clients with specialists who can help meet their financial needs Provide leadership by actively supporting your assigned branches Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements About YouTo be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
