As an experienced Agility Lead, your mission is to help the Identity and Access Management organization's team of innovators, product owners, product managers, engineers, UX and Architectural experts and other technologists unlock their potential to deliver next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your expertise in various domains including lean, culture, collaboration, facilitation, professional coaching, process improvement and a focus on delivering value will be counted on to set direction and solve complex and mission-critical problems, internally and externally. Your deep understanding of the agile domain and passion for continuous improvement and coaching will inspire your teams to engage likewise.As an Agility Lead, you'll act as a servant leader for your product line by facilitating clear communication to management and to the team. Our Agility Leads are open, approachable, collaborative, and enjoy working with passionate people. They're proactive in solving problems to help their teams succeed. The Agility Lead drives agile and lean frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvement. They embrace continuous improvement and agility in their daily practices. The Agility Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts, removing impediments that hinder teams from achieving goals, and has a flexible approach that, while responsive to value-added change, is cognizant of avoiding change that introduces waste.Job Responsibilities Increasing the effectiveness of agile ways of working in Product team through coaching, influencing, teaching, and participating. Engage in Community of Practice activities, enabling Product team to deliver business outcomes. Working with Product Teams and across the organization, enhancing the understanding the value of agility, especially with regards to ensuring prioritization of workflow and updating the product backlog. Evaluate the health of the product family and respective area products to identify opportunity for process improvements, scaling agile when useful, enhancing product management, as well as assisting the leaders and teams in maturing their product vision, planning, and delivery. Support Product Team with agility, relevant tools, and methodologies to successfully deliver complex Products; guides the team to self-organization and cross functionality. Build a trusting, safe and transparent environment for both business and tech stakeholders, where problems can be raised during appropriate scrum events, without fear of blame, and with a culture of continuous improvement. Accountable for partnering with leaders (Executive Leaders, VPs and Directors across the portfolio) to execute the transformation strategy to achieve the agile and product goals for their respective products. Working with the Product and Agility Office to provide insight into common risks and impediments for the product line Working with the Product and Agility Office Center of Excellence to support training, content creation and mentorship for Agility LeadsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5 years in roles applying a broad swath of Agile tools, techniques, frameworks, incrementally adjusting as evidenced by need, investigation, and consensus. 5 years of process improvement, organizational change, and lean experience in roles focused on improving the flow of value and the reduction of waste in an organization. 2 years of experience in a strategic Agile coaching role that applied principles, practices, and theory. Has a thorough understanding of recognized agility and coaching practices and can apply the knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations. Must not be fixated on a single framework or approach to helping teams and stakeholders improve. Actively engages with stakeholders within and beyond the team, regardless of title, building bridges, for continual increasing customer, business, and employee value. Thinks proactively to identify and implement improvements to working practices. Embraces need for empirically-based experiments, participates in retrospectives to understand the cause of failure and the identification of actionable changes, which you then champion. Clearly articulates strategic initiatives and models open, transparent dialogue with stakeholders.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Expertise in some of major frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, XP, Nexus, SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum @ Scale) and 3 or more years' experience in at least 1 framework Extensive Lean Six Sigma, TPS, or similar process and quality improvement experience Application of modern technical practices in software development (automation, shift-left, modern XP, etc.)
