As a Personal Account Dealing (PAD) Compliance Officer in the PAD Advisory Team, you will work globally across all lines of business to advise internal stakeholders on the impact of regulatory requirements and how to balance these with the firm’s needs. Their diverse mandate means we also provide input on new business strategies, product lines, policies, training, operational processes, risk mitigation and controls. The focus will be on industry regulations and firm wide controls and monitoring related to insider trading, conflicts of interest, disclosure requirements, response to regulatory inquiries, and global consistency of the firm’s policies and procedures. We aid compliance through effective education, oversight, and enforcement. Ensuring adherence to policy requirements in an efficient and expeditious manner protects both employees and the firm from adverse reputational or regulatory outcomes. You will cover areas such as participation in internal Audit, Regulatory activities, strategic projects, and various other Compliance/Control activities within Personal Account Dealing. You will pro-actively plan, be a self-starter, and think strategically in a compliance environment.
