Job SummaryWe are recruiting a Corporate Banking Vice President to cover select North American Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) and Consumer/Retail (C&R) clients that have presence in Latin America and centralized decision making out of the West Coast. Position will be based in San Francisco and report functionally to the North America TMT and C&R Co-Heads, with dotted reporting to the Latin America Multinationals Corporate Banking Head.The Latin America Multinationals Corporate Banking team manages J.P. Morgan's relationships with ~800 Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients across their cash management, trade, derivatives, and financing needs. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions.Job Responsibilities Leverage existing Treasurer / Finance Manager relationships with select North American TMT and C&R clients to originate and execute corporate banking opportunities in Latin America Partner with headquarter and local corporate bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution Create forward-looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationships Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's array of corporate banking products (e.g. payments, trade, escrow, derivatives, capital markets, credit, risk management, asset management, etc.) Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to drive product development idea Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities Ensure strong Risk & Control framework is maintained with an ongoing focus on adherence to KYC, AML, GFCC, PAD, PEP and Reputation Risk standards Role requires travel within the United States and, to a lesser extent, into Latin America Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Previous experience in a front office corporate banking (or similar) role Proven ability to build and develop client relationships Track record of managing complex multi-product and multi-country opportunities Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products Solid credit and analytical skills Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to partner with corporate bankers and product specialists within the firm
