Job Description

Business Management optimizes business performance by supporting management of an organization and delivery of key initiatives. The role of a Business Manager is dynamic, as it evolves based on the needs of the organization’s priorities and strategies. 

As a Corporate Responsibility Business Manager, you will provide support to Corporate Responsibility Senior Leadership, including the Corporate Responsibility Chief Financial Officer (CFO), across a wide range of deliverables that range from managing execution of key leadership meetings / offsites to driving initiatives that span multiple departments across the organization. 
The Head of Corporate Responsibility Finance & Business Management is seeking to fill this role with someone who is passionate about leveraging their expertise to build partnerships, operate as a trusted advisor and support continued efforts to evolve the Corporate Responsibility organization. 

This position is located in New York (NYC) or Delaware (Wilmington) and requires a hybrid working schedule (i.e., 3 days in the office). 

Job responsibilities

  • Program / Project Management – Drive execution and implementation of key initiatives for Corporate Responsibility senior leadership and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, while operating as a thought partner with key stakeholders 
  • Senior Meeting Coordination & Support – Coordinate meetings and offsites for Corporate Responsibility senior leadership which includes creation of thoughtful agenda, production or aggregation of materials to facilitate discussion and decision making, and managing takeaways 
  • Executive Reporting – Deliver meaningful reporting on organization’s key performance indicators and strategic priorities through partnership with key stakeholders, review and challenge (e.g., EMRs, Business Reviews)
  • Trusted Advisor – Operate as a trusted advisor and independent challenger to the business 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • This position requires a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in a project management, business management or planning and analysis related role.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or related area preferred
  • Previous experience in public sector, non-profit, philanthropic giving is a plus
  • Technical skills: Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required, experience with Monday.com is a plus
  • Soft Skills / Capabilities (Required):
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to synthesize information / data and tailor messaging to communicate effectively across all levels of management
    • Strong partnership mindset and service provider mentality with ability to work cross-functionally to drive progress, create efficiencies and develop solutions to business problems
    • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive and problem-solving mindset
    • Flexible, organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently
