J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) is a global leader across commercial banking, investment banking, markets and investor services. J.P. Morgan’s Private Credit Syndicate team sits within the Investment Bank’s Credit Markets business. This dynamic team supports the growth of J.P. Morgan’s Direct Lending and Credit Financing businesses by driving balance sheet velocity and incremental fee revenue.

As an Analyst within Private Credit Syndicate, you will work with experienced professionals at one of the world's leading global investment banks. You will focus on analyzing and identifying the optimal solutions for clients and will be responsible for deal coordination efforts across internal and external parties including coverage, origination, sales, credit, legal and client teams. 

Job responsibilities:

• Collaborating with internal and external parties on syndication and transaction execution
• Conducting comparable analysis; performing business diligence, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling
• Support senior colleagues with important analysis and preparatory work
• Interacting with investor, corporate, and sponsor clients 
• Driving the preparation of marketing materials, customized term sheets, and credit approval packages etc. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

• 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Risk or related fields is preferred
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
