Seize the opportunity to join the Business Management team to optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.As an Associate in the Credit Trading group you will be able to work independently to identify and resolve business risks, partner effectively with the relevant Credit aligned support teams and other functional teams, and deliver projects efficiently. Job responsibilities Act as trusted advisor and counterweight to Business Head(s) Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives (brokerage, fees, cost base, Risk Weighted Assets and capital utilization) Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business: e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs) Partnership with the business, Operations and Technology in the definition of future workflows and implementation of related technology and infrastructure projects to prepare the business to meet the requirements of an ever evolving market structure. Partnership with the relevant external service/ infrastructure providers. Business representation in respective internal/external working groupsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area Prior experience in Business Management or COO role Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables) Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong time management and prioritization skillsNOTE: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
