Within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) line of business, the Control Management Data & Analytics Team (D&A) unifies data and analytics talent across Chase to responsibly build data products that provide competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. Additionally, the D&A Control Management team supports the Chief Data Office (CDO) who provides data governance and data management.
Control Management (CM) maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. With Control Managers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage and joint accountability model with the business executive that promotes early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls, and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk. Control Management focuses on four areas:
• Business risk and control identification/assessment
• Control design and performance; Control KPIs
• Control breaks and issue resolution
• Control management governance & reporting
As a D&A Control Management Associate, you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the Business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner. The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. This position will have cross Line of Business (LOB) responsibilities.
