As a Data Scientist Sr Associate on the Consumer and Business Intelligence team, you'll join a new organization that monitors, coordinates and develops a holistic internal & external view of the financial well-being of consumers and businesses through the lens of internal and third party data. Job Responsibilities: Recognizing and communicating meaningful trends/patterns in data as it relates to consumer and business health Collaborating and exploring emerging trends in income, spend, savings and credit with other economists, econometricians and data scientists Identifying and validating data sources and quality Clearly, carefully and quickly articulate discoveries with solid data support Contribute to the critical thinking and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment that prides itself on attention to detail and results Help develop presentations to summarize and communicate key messages to senior management, sponsors and colleagues Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: 4 years' experience working in a business strategy and analytics role and a BS degree in a related field Substantial experience with SQL (query/procedure writing) Experience with at least one of the following versatile, cross-technology tools/languages - Python, SAS, R or Alteryx Clear and succinct written and verbal communication - able to frame and present messages for different audiences Critical and analytical thinking Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities and projects Ability to maintain detail focus and retain big picture perspective Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Master's degree in relevant field preferred Experience in Mortgage Banking or Financial Services industryHybrid 60% in-office
