The Digital Private Markets team is a fast-growing global group within J.P.Morgan's Investment Bank and Digital & Platform Services (D&PS), creating a high-profile and exciting new digital business for the firm, focused on early-stage private markets. Born out of the Digital Innovation space, our goal is to turn our vision into a market leading platform in private markets. The team is foundationally cross-discipline, bringing together finance specialists, former entrepreneurs, product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists into a single unified group, tasked with delivering a market-leading solution.This role reports into Finance and Business Management (F&BM) part of Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) F&BM and Investment Banking F&BM function within the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Line of Business (LOB). The Business Management function optimizes business performance by focusing on outcomes, influencing key strategic initiatives and driving their execution and accountable for financial discipline. We act as trusted advisors to the Business Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business Responsibilities Work with Finance Management Team to procure and manage financial resources which includes budgeting, forecasting, expense management and headcount planning Create mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes Work with business leads to ensure priorities and progress is effectively and regularly communicated to their stakeholders Manage other general issues related to real estate, staffing, corporate requests Maintain relationships with Digital Private Markets team from other lines of business across the firm.A successful candidate will demonstrate: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking An interest in Private Markets, Venture Capital, Fund Raising, and how JPMorgan can serve these areas Being able to pivot focus with shifting business priorities Self-starter with a desire to understand both the big picture and the details. Able to work in a collaborative way with our business stakeholders and support areas Addresses issues in a problem-solving way Proficient in distilling data and information into clear, conclusive presentationsRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities Minimum 2 years of experience with prior roles in finance, business management, financial planning & analysis, or project management, within investment banking or SaaS businesses preferred. Familiarity with P&L business Strong in Excel (able to distill large datasets into compact messages) and PowerPoint (skilled with visually presenting those messages). Familiarity with Tableau and Alteryx would be beneficial. Demonstrated track record of driving complex implementations across large teams and organizations Strong written and oral presentation / communication skills - the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
