DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Partner with Area Product Owners and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmap. Define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria and participate in all agile events of the product group as a team member. Collaborate with technical teams and cross-product, product owners on the creation and prioritization of a product backlog. Act as voice of the customer and drive product vision and value in accordance with business stakeholder priorities. Manage existing product features and actively work on research definition and development of new features to advance the product roadmap. Conduct Initial Product Backlog Refinement and Product Backlog Refinement sessions to flesh out requirements and UX designs and ensure Definition of Ready is met. Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies across teams. Help resolve impediments for the team as needed. Identify, improve, and develop technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. Conduct key relationships and communications with stakeholders including to senior executives. Participate and facilitate meetings as required. Act as a strategic partner to product managers across the team. Take ownership of the products. This position requires up to 25% domestic travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Digital Product Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, Software Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Digital Product Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner, Software Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile product development and delivery; Converting business requirements into functional and technical stories; Defining and building a product backlog; Large scale technical platforms and API development; Banking, account opening, online and mobile platforms; JIRA; and Confluence.
Job Location: 1111 Polaris Parkway., Columbus, OH 43035. This position requires up to 25% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
