Within CR, Global Philanthropy (GP) advances this work through three functions: the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Impact Finance and Advisory, and Employee Engagement and Volunteerism (EEV). EEV drives impact through a global portfolio of programs that engage employees in skilled volunteerism, including board service, small business and youth mentoring, and nonprofit consulting, and also manages disaster relief and workplace giving. 

As an Employee Engagement and Volunteerism Program Manager, you willlead the firm’s global disaster relief and workplace giving programs. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of the firm’s disaster relief efforts, including firm-wide engagement to track and respond to global crises
  • Serve as the main point of contact globally for responding to disasters, working collaboratively with market-based colleagues across CR and JPMC LOBs and functions and maintaining relationships with non-profit organizations that provide humanitarian support following disasters 
  • Work closely with Communications, Operations, Grantmaking, Legal and Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams to structure special employee matching campaigns, including grants to nonprofit partners and to communicate about the impact of donations
  • Provide oversight for identification, vetting and maintenance of partnerships of key partners for disaster relief campaigns globally
  • Manage global workplace giving and board match programs, enabling employees to contribute to charitable organizations in their local communities and around the world
  • Work closely with colleagues who are responsible for market strategies to ensure that the Workplace Giving program responds to local needs and feedback 
  • Lead signature efforts including end-to-end management of GivingTuesday in the U.S. and international expansion of the firm’s workplace giving program
  • Serve as a liaison between the EEV team and CR Operations, Technology, Vendor, and Payments team to ensure efficient delivery of disaster and giving programs; spearhead efforts with these teams on behalf of EEV to onboard new platforms and/or vendors to automate and optimize these programs
  • Work with GP’s Executive Office and CR Data and Analytics team to track key performance indicators related to employee participation in global giving and disaster relief programs; oversee development of ongoing reports and dashboards to monitor engagement and improve program strategy over time
  • Identify, develop, and manage process improvements related to the firm’s disaster relief, workplace giving, and related customer service operations
  • Provide oversight and ensure timely response to customer service inquiries and ad-hoc requests, including for senior leaders 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, business management, and/or operations
  • Commercial mindset, strong process and interpersonal skills; experience managing relationships, collaborating with, and building consensus with stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrates high degree of initiative and attention to detail in execution in fast-paced environment
  • Drives continuous improvement, seeks information and looks for new approaches to processes and practices 
  • Creative, flexible, and collaborative with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Relevant experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience working within a global team preferred, including working across different geographic contexts
