As a Principal Data Architect within JPMorgan Chase Community and Consumer Banking Division, you will provide expertise to enhance and develop data architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced data architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes to achieve the target state architecture goals.

Job responsibilities

• Advise cross-functional teams on data architecture solutions to achieve the target state architecture and improve current technologies
• Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and data architecture strategy and priorities
• Create complex and scalable data frameworks using appropriate software design
• Review and debugs code written by others to deliver secure, high-quality production code
• Serve as the function’s go-to subject matter expert 
• Contribute to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Create durable, reusable data frameworks using new technology to meet the needs of the business
• Mentor and coaches junior architects and technologists
• Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability 
• Expert in one or more architecture disciplines and programming languages
• Deep knowledge of data architecture, best practices, and industry trends
• Advanced knowledge of application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) 
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager 
• Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives
• Practical cloud native experience
