As a Product Manager in Digital Channels, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

The Partner Engagement and Customer Ecosystem team is looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Digital Product Manager to help assess and optimize critical customer journeys across mobile and web. Our mission is to make it easy and enjoyable for new and existing customers to explore and enroll in new financial products, onboard those accounts successfully, and engage with other features and benefits that Chase has to offer them. Our team works closely with leaders across digital, technology, UX, and many business stakeholders to help identify and assess potential solutions, outline requirements, and ensure successful delivery of a delightful and performant customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter who is comfortable working in a results-driven, agile environment, and partnering closely with research, design, and technology partners across a highly-matrixed organization to determine and deliver the best path forward for bringing ideas to market.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, such as internal stakeholders; data & analytics; customer feedback; user research; and competitive analysis; to synthesize and develop a product roadmap that delivers value to customers and the firm 
  • Identify and champion new ideas across key customer journeys to increase customer satisfaction and engagement, and ensure consistency for the customer across channels 
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation of initiatives’ scope, business requirements, core capabilities, workflows, and other materials
  • Participate in agile product development processes and ceremonies with technology teams to ensure prioritization and quality implementation, such as writing initiatives and epics, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and more
  • Define, measure, and report on rollout performance and success, including senior stakeholder communications and other forums
  • Drive quality standards with legal, risk, controls, compliance partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience collaborating with UX design and research, and running a rigorous experimentation plan
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines and risks with calmness and diligence
  • Experienced in agile practices, methodology, and tools (JIRA, Confluence) and partnering closely with scrum teams to translate product requirements into epics and stories 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Ability to break down complex concepts into strategic value statements and reasons to believe 
  • Customer-obsessed, strategic and analytical thinker with ability to interpret and present results and metrics to drive change
  • Strong and polished verbal, written, and presentations skills; ability to articulate at the right level of detail to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders
  • Team-oriented disposition and positive attitude
  • Relentless focus and attention to detail
  • Experience as a people Manager
