We are seeking candidates to fill in a desk strategist role in the QR - Tax-Oriented Investments (TOI) and Asset Backed Securitization (ABS)You will have the opportunity is to join our New York team as an associate with a focus on TOI and ABS analytics work.Job Responsibilities: Development, maintenance, enhancement and support of data analytics for the TOI and ABS desks Work closely with the TOI and ABS desks and management teams to design, suggest and solve complicated problemsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Basic understanding of financial markets and programming skills Strong mathematical, data science/statistical, and problem solving skills Hands-on experience in financial data analysis Experience in programming (Python, C , SQL, etc) Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and a good team player Excellent communication and writing skills Exposure to commodities / energy markets is a plus, but not required.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Master degree in financial engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other quantitative field Prior experience and understanding of fixed income markets Exposure to commodities / energy markets
