This is a dynamic role in Firmwide Risk Control Management with responsibility for leading and enhancing a control framework which supports a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities.Job Responsibilities Support Senior Control Managers with the execution of the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation framework through participation in process analysis to assess the risk and control environment, identify control and/or data quality issues and understand the root causes, and review actions taken to remediate issues Assist with and lead meetings, regulatory related initiatives and ad hoc presentations including senior management meetings, develop executive level commentary, drive timelines and related materials Identify meaningful metrics, ongoing analysis of KRI/KPI, develop ad-hoc reports to support risk related programs, and escalate control breaks based on key reporting indicators Evaluate, analyze and track issues and action plans to ensure progress toward planned completion dates Partner with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, Risk, audit, regulators and technology Implement firmwide control initiatives for AWM as needed Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred and demonstrable familiarity with regulatory requirements Demonstrate confident leadership with sound judgment and ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines Strong communication (oral and written) with high degree of comfort communicating with management Ability to analyze problems with keen attention to detail; Inquisitive and proactive Analytical skills with ability to aggregate data, identify root causes Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) with the ability to develop compelling and meaningful executive presentations that will guide opportunities / recommendation for improvement
